Should you disagree with its provisions, discontinue Service use immediately.
2. INFORMATION COLLECTION
Data gathered varies based on your engagement with our Service, features utilized, and privacy selections. We obtain information through multiple channels:
- Directly Provided Data: Includes identifiers (username, email, birthday), physical address, gender/gender identity volunteered during Recho interactions, or other unsolicited details revealing protected classifications.
- Google Sign-In: When authenticating via Google, Recho imports your display name and profile picture as default credentials. These may be modified later within Recho. All such data remains strictly confidential.
- Biometric Verification: Certain functionalities require facial authentication to protect your account. Facial data serves solely for this purpose and isn’t repurposed.
- User-Generated Content: Content you produce (photos, profiles, messages, comments) may be collected. Note that photos taken by others using Recho’s capture feature may be stored and utilized by Recho or third parties (adjustable via settings). Service use implies acceptance; otherwise, refrain from accessing the Service.
- Device & Technical Identifiers: Usage triggers automatic logging of IP addresses, device IDs (e.g., MAC), hardware specifications, operating systems, browser details, and software configurations (see Section 5: “Tracking Technologies”).
- Shared Information Responsibility: Voluntarily disclosed data may become public and uncontrollable. Recho bears no liability for its subsequent misuse. If a conversation partner reports abuse, relevant chat data (audio, screenshots, text) from their device may be transmitted to our servers for investigation and potential sanctions.
- Transaction Data: Purchases via Recho’s shop require payment details (card number, expiry, CVV, billing address). This data is securely routed to third-party processors—Recho neither stores nor handles it. We retain non-sensitive purchase records (merchant name, transaction timestamp/amount).
- Control & Consequences: You may decline data requests or restrict automated collection via browser/OS settings. However, withholding essential information may impair Service functionality.
3. DATA USAGE
We adhere to data minimization principles, limiting processing to these purposes:
- Service Delivery & Optimization: Account maintenance, troubleshooting, personalization, and feature enhancement.
- Product Innovation: Research, analytics, and development of new offerings.
- Business Operations: Payment processing, fraud detection, legal compliance, policy enforcement, and corporate transactions (e.g., mergers).
- User Experience: Personalization based on preferences and behavior patterns.
- Support & Communications: Resolving inquiries, sending administrative notices/updates.

- Aggregated/Anonymized Data: Non-identifiable statistics (e.g., user counts) may be shared with advertisers or investors for content development.
- Public Content: Information voluntarily published becomes accessible to all users and may be redistributed.
- Profile Visibility: Your profile data is shared with Recho connections.
- External Links: Third-party sites/services accessed via Recho operate under their own privacy policies.
- Analytics/Ad Partners: Third-party technologies may collect data as detailed in Section 5.
5. TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Cookies and similar tools automatically gather device/usage data. Consult browser/OS settings to manage collection preferences.
6. YOUR DATA RIGHTS
Depending on jurisdiction, you may:
- Access/Know: Review account data or request details about our data practices via serve@vexa.hk.
- Correct: Update account information directly or request corrections by contacting us.
- Delete: Request data deletion under applicable laws (exceptions may apply) via serve@vexa.hk.
- Email Preferences: Opt out of promotional emails using unsubscribe links or by emailing us. Mandatory service communications are unaffected.
7. DATA SECURITY
Vexa Limited and Recho prioritize privacy protection. We implement robust safeguards for your personal information. Users must employ strong, unique passwords. Account deletion triggers Service termination and data anonymization/deletion per legal requirements.
8. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Recho targets a general audience. We prohibit users under 18 and do not knowingly collect their data. Suspected underage data submissions will be purged immediately. Report concerns via Section 11.
9. DATA PROCESSING LOCATIONS
Your data may be processed/stored globally (e.g., Singapore) by Vexa Limited, affiliates, or partners, adhering to this Policy and local laws.
10. POLICY UPDATES
We may revise this Policy periodically. The “Last Updated” date reflects changes. Material amendments will be communicated via Service notifications or revised Policy postings. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. Review the Policy regularly on Recho’s website. Discontinue use if terms become unacceptable.
